Coal Harbour

Vancouver is a beautiful city but within this city, there are certain places you NEED to visit in order to see how beautiful it can get. Coal Harbour is one of those places and what better way to enjoy the view then over dinner? There are Cactus Club Cafes scattered throughout the city but this one was especially wonderful because of the size of the restaurant and definitely the view. I noticed that every restaurant I visited was always busy no matter what time during the day it was but this restaurant was extra busy, despite the size of it, there was a lineup but luckily we made reservations!
View from my seat
Peppercorn sirloin
Butternut squash + prawn ravioli
Calamari
Overall, this Cactus Club is a great restaurant choice for any occasion, especially dates because of the setting!

Tuesday night

Deciding where to eat is always a problem for me... I either have too many options to choose from or I'm not craving anything in particular. This evening I settled for Cactus Club Cafe on Jasper Ave, the atmosphere was great and the servers were quite friendly but the overall taste of the food was average.
My friend and I ordered a tuna tataki to share. I'm not a fan of tuna but the avocados that came with it were tasty and I was told that this is a very popular dish.
Peppercorn sirloin
Soy dijon salmon
It was such a hot day that I decided to order something other than water this is the, Nothing But Pink martini.
White chocolate cheesecake, which was the best part of the dinner...
